Reputation-Gated Voting System

Vitrum introduces a reputation-gated voting mechanism designed to protect influence from bots, Sybil accounts, and coordinated manipulation.

How voting eligibility works

• Minimum reputation requirement Only wallets with an On-Chain Reputation Score of 100 or higher are eligible to participate. This threshold ensures that only wallets with proven on-chain history can influence outcomes.

• Bullish and Bearish voting Eligible users can express sentiment on crypto influencers by casting Bullish or Bearish votes. This creates a simple and understandable signal of market perception without introducing complex weighting systems.

• Equal voting weight Each eligible wallet carries the same voting power. This design prevents whales or high-balance wallets from dominating the system and keeps voting outcomes fair and representative.

• On-chain enforcement All voting rules are enforced directly by smart contracts. No off-chain moderation or manual filtering is involved, ensuring neutrality and transparency.

Resulting benefits

• Bot wallets and Sybil accounts are effectively filtered out • Coordinated manipulation becomes significantly more expensive • Influence is earned through genuine on-chain participation • Voting outcomes reflect credible wallet behavior rather than artificial amplification
